Scientific Method Experiment

We are LCP and we’ve been hired by McDonald’s to have car companies pay us to place advertisements on their drive-thru wrappers, in Middletown. We want to show Ford that they can get the most return for their money.

We believe that by placing Ford advertisements on the wrappers of McDonald’s food will increase the peoples interest in Ford and increase the buying rate, raising total profit.

We will have 2, 3 hour sessions (3-6 P.M. & 4-7 P.M.) at McDonalds, counting 150 cars total. We would tally the data by manufacturers and then graph the results.

RESULTS

Based on our results, we suggest that Ford pay McDonalds to place their advertisement on their drive-thru wrappers. Some possible sources of error were the fact that we operated during “rush-hours” and that we only surveyed at McDonalds, and nowhere else. You could also get different results if you experimented in a larger city, such as Cincinnati or Columbus, with a higher population.
